World-wide Experience

Pascal & Ludwig was founded in 1952 by Gordon W. Ludwig and Carl C. Pascal. The company has worked
world-wide (Ecuador, Nicaragua, Guam, Truk, Nigeria, Kenya, Korea, Egypt and Libya) but now confines
activities to greater Southern California.

The Pascal & Ludwig operation sits on five acres of owned property and supports its construction operations
with its own equipment company (excavators, cranes, backhoes, loaders, etc.). We have completed projects
in both the public and private sector. Among unique or innovative projects completed are the treatment facility
for both Hines Nursery and Monrovia Nursery; a series of water and sewage projects for Southern California
Edison at their San Onofre facility; the treatment plant for the BKK Landfill facility in West Covina; a landfill
liner/containment system for the Orange County EMA (Bee Canyon Landfill Phase II); and a brackish water
treatment plant in Port Hueneme and the chlorination facilities at the Metropolitan Water District's Diemer
Water Treatment Plant and the award winning Deep Aquifer Treatment System.

While Pascal & Ludwig has successfully completed virtually every type of project, from dams to high schools,
the main focus of work has been in the area of water and sewage including pump stations, reservoirs,
treatment facilities, flow control structures and basins, metering facilities, pipelines, storm drains and box
cluverts.
Experts in the Field

Pascal & Ludwig typically undertakes in-house the earthwork, concrete, mechanical and general building
portions of a project, subcontracting only the electrical and other specialty trades. We have worked under all
types of contract arrangements, and are keenly aware of the "Value Engineering" concept of design/build
projects. During the past several years, the company has developed a strong design/build team, resulting in
the successful design/build of over a dozen diverse projects: from RO desalters, deep well facilities, reinforced
concrete reservoirs and domestic water/sewage/storm water pump stations.

Intrinsic with heavy engineering work, Pascal & Ludwig maintains a continuous safety monitoring program on
each project and company wide has in place a safety program required by PS198. The emphasis on safety
has resulted in a program that has been awarded the Engineering Contractors Association 'Contractor Safety
Award' for 1995, 1998 and 2004.

Pascal & Ludwig holds a California General Engineering License (A-373525) as well as a General Building
Classification (B), and a Hazardous Material License.
